“Our heart is to see women in the church living with a passionate love for Jesus Christ, built up and secure in who they are and able to help others in their faith. To have a place where they can be themselves and be listened to, to seek out answers to questions, to have time to enjoy the company of other women.”
Arise and Shine started in 2006 with a vision to see women in the church equipped to share the love and passion they have for their Saviour, Jesus Christ. There are two elements to the ministry one is for Christian women to have a place and an opportunity to share their hearts and find support in a safe and loving environment. The other element is for women to meet in an informal setting for food be it a meal out or breakfast, a movie night, horse riding, a walk, where we can bring friends along in an a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
A while back they had a vision for our church to have more ladies events. Since then they have been busy organising different events and meetings so women can have more opportunity to grow in their faith and in their relationships with each other.
